I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! We had a great July Luncheon with our topic on Why Houston, Why Advertise in Houston. Thanks again to all who attended and to our fabulous speaker Marti Boone from the Greater Houston Partnership.

This month we are partnering with AAF-Houston for our annual joint luncheon. We enjoy pulling our communities together and hope to see you all there. Mark your calendars for our luncheon on Wednesday, August 18^th at 11:30am at the Junior League (1811 Briar Oaks Drive, Houston, TX). Please note the change in location this month.

Patrick Coyne, Editor & Designer of CA Journal

For this joint luncheon, Patrick Coyne will discuss the history and philosophy of the magazine, how CA’s competitions work and how creatives are chosen for profiles in the magazine. He will also present a selection of award-winning design and advertising projects produced on limited budgets and discuss the future of creativity in the post-information age.
