President, Houston Chapter of AWRT:

I hope everyone is enjoying this breezy, spring weather.  With your favorite AWRT outdoor activity coming up in less than a month, we can only hope this “breeziness” will hold out.  In the meantime, we have an important luncheon coming up this week.  

 

Please join us this Wednesday, April 14th for our April luncheon, also officially known as our AWRT Members Annual Business Meeting Luncheon.  We will have the pleasure of hearing from two of our 2009 scholarship recipients which will allow us to see first hand how the scholarship money we award every year impacts the future of our media industry. 

 

As part of the official business during our annual business meeting, we will be voting in the new slate of executive board officers for 2010-11 and will also be reviewing and voting on bylaw changes, which this year for us includes a name change.  If you are a current member of AWRT, please contact Anna Munoz at amunoz@univisionradio.com or (713) 965-2449 to RSVP for this luncheon. 

 

Please note that this is a members only luncheon and you must be a current AWRT member to participate and vote at this luncheon.  If you will not be able to attend this luncheon, you can vote before the luncheon by sending in or replying to the AWRT Ballot you received by email.  If you did not receive the ballot email for voting, please contact Monica Moreno Rose at Monica.O.Moreno@abc.com.
